Okay, so you’re probably looking at these images thinking – “This isn’t quite what I had in mind,” or maybe you’re thinking, “How cute – can they really make that?” Well, the answer to that is – yes, if we have a pattern. We don’t have much in the way of vintage clothing patterns, but if we did, assuming they are straightforward, we can make the item. If you can find the pattern (and send it to us, or pay for us to order it), we can use it to create your item. It’s important to take your measurements (see a longer tutorial at this link, which gives timestamps in the details below the video, though watching the first few minutes can be very helpful; or you can see a basic guide at this link) and compare them to what the pattern shows as matching to a specific size (I’ll warn you – patterns do NOT match store-bought sizes – Typically a 12 at the store is an 18 in a pattern. Don’t ask me why, though I suspect it could be because in the old days, when measurements were taken, women wore girdles. It’s very confusing, but at least measurements can help us make the correct size for you). Most importantly, I need your measurements to make sure we get the pattern right for you.
